Across the country and right here in Wyoming, political attacks against transgender people have grown exponentially over the last several years. This lawsuit is little more than political grandstanding and just the latest attempt to erase transgender people from society.

By signing this bill into law, Gov. Gordon has put the government in charge of making vital decisions traditionally reserved for parents in Wyoming. This ban won’t stop Wyomingites from being trans, but it will deny them critical support to become thriving adults.
