Legislators have introduced a bill would that would legalize discrimination against same-sex couples and transgender people, and would make it impossible for any branch or part of the government to enact or enforce local non-discrimination ordinances and federal protections for the LGBT community.

A bill signed into law by President Bill Clinton about 20 years ago created an interstate agreement for emergency management. That agreement helped bring law enforcement agents from 10 states (including Wyoming) to the site of protests by the Standing Rock Sioux against the Dakota Access Pipeline in North Dakota.
