For 20 days every other year, our elected lawmakers are tasked with one non-negotiable constitutional duty: passing a balanced state budget that allocates funds responsibly.

Yet the budget hasn’t seemed to be the biggest priority for some of our legislators this year. Instead, we’ve seen attempts to fast-track bills with sweeping consequences for our civil liberties during a session meant for fiscal priorities.

We need to remind our elected officials before session ends about what’s really important to Wyomingites. That's why we're collaborating with our partners statewide to help you take action.

At the Truth to Power events across Wyoming, you'll hear from the leaders of local advocacy organizations about bills they're tracking and we'll write letters to our lawmakers using guidance from advocacy experts.
