Summary

We're coming together to discuss an incident which targeted LGBTQ and black students at McCormick Jr. High.

Racism and homophobia have no place in our community

Earlier this week two posters reading “it’s great to be straight it’s not ok to be gay,” “black lives only matter because if it weren’t for them who would pick our cotton,” and “Join the KKK,” with “the confederate kid club” in parenthesis beneath it were found in Cheyenne’s McCormick Junior High School. We're coming together to discuss, and collaborate on ways to combat hatred in our communities and hope you can join us.

Co-hosted by Wyoming Equality and Juntos.
