Trans People Belong: Veto Senate File 133

Let's be real, Wyomingites know Senate File 133 isn't about protecting fairness in sports.

Trans people belong everywhere in Wyoming – including sports.

Unfortunately, the Wyoming legislature doesn't think so and has passed Senate File 133, legislation that would prohibit transgender student athletes from playing on teams that match their gender identity.

Senate File 133 isn't about protecting fairness in sports. It's a bill that violates the United States Constitution and Title IX of the Civil Rights Act, which protects all students – including those who are transgender – from discrimination based on sex. It's a bill that erases and excludes trans people from participation in all aspects of public life. And it's a bill that creates a solution to a problem that doesn't exist, harming some of the most vulnerable people in our state.

TELL GOV. GORDON TO VETO SENATE FILE 133

This kind of discrimination needs to stop.

We need to send a message loud and clear that discriminatory legislation like Senate File 133 has no place in the Equality State. Contact Governor Gordon today and urge him to veto Senate File 133.
