The ACLU dares to create a more perfect union — beyond one person, party, or side. We are dedicated to defending and protecting our civil rights and personal freedoms by working in communities, legislatures, and courts to uphold the promise of the United States Constitution for all and to expand the reach of its guarantees.
Whether it’s ending mass incarceration, protecting free speech, achieving full equality for the LGBTQ+ and Two Spirit community, securing the rights of immigrants, establishing new privacy protections for our digital age, or preserving the right vote or the right to have an abortion, the ACLU takes up the toughest civil liberties cases and issues to defend all people from government abuse and overreach.
The ACLU of Wyoming offices are located on the ancestral territory of the Arapaho, Arikara, Bannock, Blackfeet, Cheyenne, Crow, Gros Ventre, Kiowa, Nez Perce, Sheep Eater, Sioux, Shoshone, and Ute tribes. The ACLU of Wyoming honors and respects the diverse Indigenous peoples connected to this territory on which we gather.
