Session Doesn’t Have to be a Circus

Wyoming’s biennial budget session is sure to be a fast and furious four weeks as legislators grapple with the dollars and cents of the state budget. Yet, the budget doesn’t seem to be the biggest priority for some legislators. This is unacceptable. Voters from all sides of the political spectrum just want our legislators to get good things done on their behalf, not stoke the "culture wars” at the expense of our civil rights. With more than 100 draft bills already listed on the Legislative Service Office's website, there's going to be a lot for our legislators to discuss and debate in just 20 days. But session doesn't have to be a circus. Don't let bad bills spoil budget session. We'll be paying close attention to what our legislators are doing in Cheyenne, and we hope you will, too.

Turn Off Flock

Flock Safety automated license plate reader (ALPR) cameras have been installed in Wyoming communities like Jackson and Cheyenne, but are virtually unregulated. Flock Safety cameras are continuously collecting data that can be kept and accessed by law enforcement agencies across the country. In short, we’re being surveilled as we travel through our state. Learn more about ALPR cameras, and what you can do to help protect privacy in our communities.
