Background: House Bill 126 would implement a six-week abortion ban in Wyoming.

Our Stance: The ACLU of Wyoming opposes House Bill 126.

This legislation means even before a person may know they are pregnant, they will not have a full range of medical options available to them. Everyone should have the freedom to decide if and when to have children. Abortion is a personal medical decision that should only involve health care providers and their patients.
