Description

House Bill 166, which has been introduced for the 2020 Budget Session, will repeal the death penalty in the sstate of Wyoming.

ACLU position

The ACLU of Wyoming supports House Bill 166. Wyoming's death penalty laws violate both the United States and Wyoming Constitutions.

This is worth noting: The bill’s number – HB 166 – is significant. Since 1973, 166 former death-row prisoners have been exonerated of all charges and set free.
