Cooperating Attorneys
The Wyoming Chapter of the ACLU received funding for our first staff attorney in 2007. Despite our limited staff and funding, we are faced with a huge number of requests for assistance from individuals and organizations. For over 80 years, volunteer lawyers have been the backbone of ACLU legal programs across the nation. These volunteers include solo practitioners, recent law school graduates, some of the nation’s most prominent lawyers, and many major law firms in America . Participation by the private bar is vital to the ACLU’s work, and to protecting the rights of Wyoming ’s citizens. Cooperating attorneys have an opportunity to work on cases that can be intellectually challenging and personally rewarding. If you are an attorney and you are interested in assisting the Wyoming Chapter protect civil liberties in Wyoming , please fill out this questionnaire and contact us.
